Memorial for Prudence Murphy

Prudence Reed was born in Kent Street, Sydney on 3 July 1846 and died at 19 Fernhill Street, Hurlstone Park NSW on 29 October 1940. She married firstly Joseph Whye in Bourke on 28 April 1863. She was widowed on 6 May 1877 and subsequently married secondly the recently-divorced James Murphy at Gongolgon on 18 May 1879. She is buried in Randwick General Cemetery at South Coogee NSW.
